Starting Your Arcade Machine
Plug in and switch on the unit at the mains. There is a rocker power switch at the rear of the cabinet, but this is typically set to on as it's easier to switch the unit off via the mains plug. You will see a PC boot up screen and memory test, then you will be presented with the main menu screen for the Voyager system. TOP

Using The Menu System
The graphical game menu system is easily navigated by using the joystick to move up and down the game list. When you stop on a game a popup animation appears to demonstrate what the game looks like. To select a game, simply press one of the fire buttons and this will take you to the start game confirmation screen. This screen plays an animation of the game while prompting you to select one or two player options to start the game (unless you don't have any credit loaded, in this case you will see a flashing coin, prompting you to add coin(s) to play). A credit will only be used if you start to play a game, this feature ensures that you don't waste a credit if you accidentally click into a game. You can easily return back to the main menu screen by pressing the fire button. When you have finished playing a game, you can play again by pressing the player one or player two buttons, as long as you still have available credit, or you can press the menu button once, to return to the game confirmation screen, then once again to go back to the main menu. If you do nothing when first selecting a game, the arcade machine will automatically return you to the previous screen after a short period of time. TOP

Engineer Settings
To access the Engineer Settings to control the myriad of functions available you must press the engineer button that is located on the upright Voyager inside the top coin mech. compartment, on the left hand side, and on cocktail cabinet Voyager's is inside the front right hand corner of the machine, under the lockable lid. Navigating through this menu system is as easy as the game menu system. You simply move around with the joystick, click fire to select and then nudge the joystick left or right to adjust the values. Once you're happy with your new settings, navigate to save and exit at the bottom of the screen and press the fire button, this will save your new setting and return you to the main menu screen. TOP

How Do I Set The Volume?
Volume is set in the engineer section, see Engineer Settings to see how to access this. Once in you can change the onscreen volume setting. The volume range is 0 to 15 with 0 being silent and 15 being the loudest. You simply change the value by moving the joystick to the left, or the right. An audible sound is played as you do this, to make it easy for you to achieve the right volume setting. TOP

Free Play or Cash Box?
The Voyager arcade machines can be ordered with or without a cash box. The reason for this is that the vast majority of home users are buying an arcade machine to play the games and not make extra revenue. On the free play version there is a button in place of the cash box. You simply press this to add credits. For those who are placing a machine in a venue, such as a bar or club, the cash box is the option to go for. More details on the cash box and the trade features of the Voyager are detailed here. TOP

How Do I Keep My Voyager Arcade Machine Clean?
Firstly make sure that the machine is switched off and unplugged at the mains. Clean the outside of the cabinet only with a warm damp cloth. Use only water with a mild washing up liquid, to wet your cloth. After cleaning, dry off and polish with a clean dry soft cloth. TOP
